Crafted from a shimmering crystal shard that seems to shift colors, this wand pulses with arcane energy. Its delicate form is embedded with minute fragments resembling shattered glass, and when held, it feels warm to the touch. The wand is particularly attuned to the threads of fate and the unseen layers of reality.
Once per day, you can use an action to activate the wand, casting the Greater Invisibility spell without expending a spell slot. When cast in this way, the spell lasts for up to 10 minutes. If the target attacks or casts a spell, the effect ends early. Additionally, while you maintain concentration on this spell, the wand grants you the ability to see into the Ethereal Plane within a 30-foot radius, allowing you to perceive creatures and objects on that plane as shades of motion.
Once per short rest, you can choose to unleash a wave of destabilizing energy. You can use your action to cause the wand to create a 10-foot radius sphere centered on a point you can see within 60 feet. Creatures within the area must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, they take 4d6 psychic damage and suffer disadvantage on their next attack roll or saving throw. On a successful save, they take half damage and do not suffer disadvantage. This ability consumes one charge of the wand.
The wand has 3 charges and regains 1d3 expended charges at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a roll of 1, the wand shatters, releasing an explosion of psychic energy; each creature within a 30-foot radius must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 6d6 psychic damage and be stunned until the end of their next turn.
Those who wield this wand may develop an affinity for the fluctuations of reality. However, such power comes with risks; its current bearer may occasionally feel glimpses of possible futures, leading to moments of uncertainty or hesitation in decision-making as they align with fate’s intricacies.
The shimmering shards embedded within the wand can take on the colors of the user’s emotions, creating an aura around the user that glows in response to their feelings, creating both an enchanting spectacle and a reminder of the wielder's own inner turmoil.
