This cloak is composed of interwoven strands of ethereal feathers and shimmering threads that ripple like a gentle breeze. When donned, it feels weightless and offers an exhilarating sensation, as though the wearer is perpetually kissed by the wind itself.
While wearing the cloak, the character gains the ability to descend slowly and gracefully, as if under the effects of the Feather Fall spell. This effect activates automatically when the wearer falls more than 10 feet, allowing them to land safely and take no fall damage. Additionally, the wearer can choose to activate a gust of wind that propels them forward during a jump, giving a bonus to their jump distance equal to 10 feet for a single jump. This ability can be used once per short or long rest.
The cloak also grants the wearer advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks based on hearing, as the subtle rustling of its feathers heightens awareness of surrounding sounds. However, its allure can draw the unwary; once per day, the wearer must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw when they hear a powerful gust of wind. On a failure, the cloak attempts to push them 10 feet in a direction of its choice, causing them to move uncontrollably.
