This area becomes difficult terrain for 1 minute, and any creature that starts its turn within this area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 2d6 piercing damage and be restrained by the tangled roots and thorns until the end of their next turn.
If you are already in attunement with the amulet at the start of your turn, you can choose to channel its energy. For the next minute, you have advantage on checks related to Nature and can cast the Entangle spell as a bonus action. When you cast Entangle in this manner, the spell lasts for 1 additional minute, but you cannot concentrate on other spells during that time.
Should the amulet be worn in a forested or heavily vegetated area, its abilities are further enhanced. In such environments, the damage from the thorny growths increases to 3d6, and you regain 1d4 hit points at the start of your turn while you remain attuned to the amulet.
