This dark, flowing garment seems to absorb the light around it, creating an aura of shadows that both conceals and enhances its wearer. Crafted by an elusive artisan from the remnants of a fallen star, the cloak whispers with the echoes of ancient secrets.
While wearing this cloak, you gain the following benefits:

Hex-Thread: Once per short rest, you can cast the Hex spell without expending a spell slot. When you do so using this ability, the target is also considered to be in dim light regardless of the surroundings, making it more difficult for them to perceive you.

Veil of Shadows: You have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made in dim light or darkness. Additionally, when you are in an area of dim light or darkness, you can use your bonus action to become invisible until the start of your next turn or until you make an attack, cast a spell, or are detected by a creature's senses.

Eclipse Step: As a reaction, when you take damage, you can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness. You are then cloaked in shadows until the end of your next turn, shifting your position and making it challenging for enemies to target you with attacks.

Shroud's Resonance: Once per long rest, you can call upon the cloak's latent power to gain resistance to any damage type until the end of your next turn. During this time, your appearance becomes an ethereal veil of shifting shadows, giving you an aura of mystery.
The cloak is said to be hung in a perpetual twilight, and while its secrets are fiercely guarded by the one who wove it, many adventurers have felt its pull, yearning for the freedom that shadows provide.
